Stand Up @ Studio BE began in September OF 2009 and has now featured over 100 fresh up and coming comedians in the past 14 months. Our unique charismatic venue, non dependence on liquor sales, and supportive atmosphere all make Studio BE the perfect place to spend your night! Tickets are available at the door but we highly recommend pre-purchasing your tickets online.
Studio BE transforms into an intimate,
cabaret style, 75 seat venue for this
event. It is hands down one of the best

Studio BE co produces the showcase with comedian/improvisers Kenny Metroff and is proud to welcome on board Chicago legend Kelsie Huff to the team. Metroff approached Studio BE with the idea of producing Stand Up @ The BE in early September, with the intent of offering opportunities and stage time for Chicago’ untapped and incredibly talented Stand Up community. The showcase began as a one time, only slightly publicized, event on a Friday night and was so successful that is turned into twelve more performances.
It is hands down one of the best opportunities in Chicago for these fresh young comics to pour their souls out and make you laugh. Each Showcase features between 5-7 comics doing hilarious stand up sets in this hour and a half showcase.
What is BYOB? BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE! Thats right… buy it at the store for cheap. Bring it in to the event and enjoy Stand Up at Studio BE with the pleasure of your preferred adult beverage at the frugal prices of your local liquor store. We reserve the right to card anybody who looks younger than 35 years of age.
