A wonderful fragrance, crunchy crust and freshness that lasts longer than the cheapest bought in the market. You don’t need many ingredients to make bread. The only thing you need in large quantities is time – yeast needs a moment to grow. How to make bread? How to make it taste like heaven? Check out our recipes. 

A simple bread recipe

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 0.5 kg of wheat flour
  • 7 g yeast (dry or instant)
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 2 flat teaspoons of salt
  • 2 incomplete glasses of warm water

At the beginning pour yeast into warm water and leave for about 10 minutes. Then mix flour, salt and sugar, and then pour the yeast and water into the dry ingredients. Bread dough can be mixed with a spoon, and when the ingredients combine, leave it for half an hour. Knead the dough again and put it into the mold. Leave for at least a quarter to rise in a warm place. Put the bread in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for about an hour.

Rye bread – recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 g rye flour type 720
  • 50 g fresh yeast
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 450-500 ml warm water
  • 2 tsp, sugar or honey
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • Oil

Mix the rye flour in a large bowl with 400 ml of water. Leave for 10 minutes. Then add salt, yeast dissolved in 50 ml of water, sugar and mix very thoroughly again. If the dough is too thick, you can add a few tablespoons of water. Kneading the dough with a mixer takes about 3 minutes. The dough will have a thick consistency, but still quite liquid. Leave the dough for 1-2 hours in a warm place to rise. Wait until it doubles its volume. Once it has risen, gently mix the dough again and transfer to a large sheet lined with baking paper. Leave the baking tray to rise for about 1-2 hours, also in a warm place. Put the cheesecake in the gingerbread preheated to 200 degrees, bake for 15 minutes and then reduce the temperature to 180 and bake another 50 minutes. 

Sourdough bread recipe

If you want to make traditional homemade sourdough bread, you must first use homemade sourdough. it takes time to cook such bread because the sourdough itself needs 5 days.

You will need:

  • 500 g rye sourdough
  • 500 g rye flour
  • approx. 200 ml lukewarm water
  • 15 g salt

Add sourdough, salt and initially only half the amount of water to the flour. It may turn out that the amount given is too large and the cake is too thin, so it’s better to add it a little bit. Leave the mixed dough for 15-20 minutes and after that time make it again. Now it’s time to mold bread. Rye bread is best baked in a mold. Put the dough in the mold, cover the top with plastic wrap. Put the loaf in a warm place to rise. Depending on the strength of the sourdough and the temperature at which the bread rises, it may take 3 to 7 hours. Set the temperature to 230 degrees C and put in the loaves so warmed up. After 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 200 degrees C, after another 10 minutes to 180 degrees C and then bake for another 40 minutes (it all depends on the size of the loaf). After tapping the bottom, the bread should make a dull noise.
